This is one of FIVE possessions of mine that I am auctioning off here on eBay this week (please see my other auctions). This is AN EXERCISE IN LETTING GO, of relinquishing an object that is charged with a meaningful PERSONAL HISTORY and a SIGNIFICANT and SENTIMENTAL INTIMACY, values of which only I can truly appreciate and fully understand. These qualities are non-transferable, therefore priceless, when it comes to determining what this object, this possession, is actually ‘worth’. This exercise in relinquishment is to allow this object to pass from me to another, in hopes that it will take on a new life, a new history, a new significance for YOU! LISTING 4.1: Men’s Wrangler Brand Western Shirt – Size Large – WOW!! White-on-white stripes, long sleeve, western shirt with silver-pearl snaps. Shirt is in great condition, very minor stains, no tears. 80% polyester, 20% cotton. Circa 1980s. WAY COOL and SUPER FABULOUS without a doubt. LISTING 4.2: Kodak DC3200 Digital Camera – 1 Megapixel – INCREDIBLE!! This baby’s gotta be ONE OF THE FIRST digital cameras out there. 1 megapixel, f3.6 lens (39mm equivalent), built-in flash, hand strap, takes four AA batteries, 16MB internal flash card included. WORKS FINE. Tiny scratch on viewfinder screen in back. Camera body BUILT LIKE A TANK (takes a knock’n and keeps on clock’n)!! LISTING 4.3: Son Volt ‘Trace’ Compact Disc – UNBELIEVABLE!! This is one of my favorite CD’s. Son Volt is headed by Jay Farrar, formerly of Uncle Tupelo and that also included Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. This is some seriously good stuff, think’n man’s alt-twang circa 1995. CD in GOOD CONDITION with super minor scuffs, plays fine with no skipping, etc. Original CD art-booklet included. LISTING 4.4: Orange Multi-Tip Screwdriver – AWESOME!! This is a great little tool that looks great, too! Orange plastic handle with SOFT RUBBER GRIP. Best of all, screwdriver comes with FIVE INTERCHANGEABLE TIPS: small and large Phillips-head, flat-head, small and large four-point drivers!! Tips store in handle (see pic). Two tips are missing, been gone for years. Some normal wear on the handle. This screwdriver has been super useful and has been used on HUNDREDS OF PROJECTS! I hate to see this go. LISTING 4.5: lank Hardcover Bound Sketch Book - SWEET!! Green, hardcover sketch book with approximately 110 bound white pages. 8” x 11”, no lettering or lines anywhere, no labels. A few VERY minor marks on the cover, all pages inside clean. This book is perfect for a journal, artist book, or a SCRAP BOOK!! NEVER USED, in GREAT CONDITION.
